COVID-19 SPECIFIC REGISTRATION POLICIES

In these uncertain times, we understand that additional policies are necessary to provide our families with transparency and flexibility. We have updated our policies to reflect COVID-specific refunds and cancellations. As always, the health and safety of the children and staff are our top priority at all times, without compromise as we do everything in our power to provide a fun, supportive and creative environment.

• Any programming cancelled by SMARTS before the start of camp (July 5, 2023) due to Covid-19 restrictions will result in a full refund, including the $100 administrative processing fee. 

• For any child who is diagnosed with Covid-19 or must quarantine as a result of close contact with a person diagnosed with Covid-19, we will provide prorated refunds excluding the non-refundable registration fee and $100 administrative processing fee. Proper documentation and positive tests confirming the diagnosis or close contact will be required for the prorated portion of the refund. 

The revised refund policy does not apply if:

• A child is sent home because of COVID who then returns to the program following their isolation period.

• A child is withdrawn from the program because there is a positive case in the program outside of the child’s group.

• Please note that close contact is defined by the CDC as someone who was “within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes starting from 2 days before illness onset (or, for asymptomatic individuals, 2 days prior to positive specimen collection) until the time the individual is isolated.”

REFUNDS

• Any monies (less the non-refundable registration fee) paid toward the balance of the program are refundable up until June 1, provided that SMARTS has been notified in writing of the withdrawal.

• After June 1, the registration fee and the administrative processing fee of $100 are non-refundable.
