We will hold SMARTS Summer Institute 2020 as planned, assuming the health crisis stabilizes,  July 6-31 at Coelho Middle School in Attleboro.

SMARTS Collaborative is vigilantly monitoring the situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) to ensure that the SMARTS Summer Institute is prepared for whatever steps we may need to take. The safety and well-being of our communities remains our top priority and we will keep you updated with information on any potential scenarios that may impact the SMARTS Summer Institute and its operation.

Please read the important information below:

  • We encourage you to register for the SMARTS Summer Institute sooner rather than later to reserve a spot. If the program is held as planned we expect a lot of registrations to come in last minute. We suggest that you secure your spot and pay the $30 non-refundable registration fee. This administrative fee will be used to support the daily operations at SMARTS during this uncertain time.

  • We are suspending our cancellation and refund policies until the situation stabilizes to give you the flexibility you need to make important decisions. If you need to withdraw from the summer program due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) related issues, we will provide a full tuition refund. We will be updating these policies as necessary as more information becomes available.

  • During SMARTS Summer Institute 2020, Before Care will be provided at no extra cost. After care will still be a paid service. If you need to drop your child off before 8:30 AM to get to work you will be able to drop your child off starting at 7:00 AM.

  • 10 business days' cancellation notice prior to start of program is required to receive a full refund (does not include non-refundable registration fees). No refunds with less than 10 business days' notice.

  • For SMARTS Summer Institute an additional $100 enrollment fee will be withheld from any refunds before June 1st. No refunds after June 1st.

  • No refund for missed days of any program.

  • No refunds for students asked to leave a program for inappropriate behavior including bringing a weapon to camp, fighting, use of illegal drugs or alcohol, smoking, illegal use of fire, vandalism, stealing, repeatedly displaying an uncooperative attitude or disrespect for others, and any other action that in the director’s opinion threatens health, safety, or well-being of any person or the smooth operation of camp.

  • In the event of a severe unexpected medical condition, a death in the immediate family, or severe unexpected financial hardship, the enrolled can apply for a refund online (Refund Application) Note: Application for medical reasons requires a doctor's note.

  • Application for refund does not guarantee a refund.

  • Program registration processing fees are non-refundable.

  • SMARTS reserves the right to cancel any program due to low enrollment. Programs cancelled by SMARTS will automatically be fully refunded.

We are a nonprofit organization and any forfeiture of deposits or fees will be put in our

Scholarship Donation Fund for children in need of financial aid.
