STEAM After-School Club

ENROLLMENT & WAITLIST FOR FALL 2019 IS FULL
Who: Grades 3-4 (limited enrollment)
What: This club is for children who love to imagine, problem solve and design! They work as undercover “Operative Design Agents” (ODA) on top-secret design projects that require imagination to solve real world problems using tools and mixed media. Children work independently and in teams on unique research challenges that reimagine uses for everyday materials and then they run “tests” to see if their creations were successful.
Where: Palmer River Elementary School STEAM Lab
Cost: $60.00/child Fee is responsibility of family.
Scholarships based on need are available from SMARTS
When: Mondays October 7th, October 21, November 4, November 18, November 25, December 2 3:10-4:10
Teaching Artist: Emily Sullivan: Mrs. Sullivan (previously known as Miss Lyczynski) has taught STEAM at Palmer River Elementary School since 2016 and is now a member of the SMARTS creative team! She graduated from Framingham State University with a Bachelor’s degree in natural science and elementary education along with a biology minor. Emily recently received her STEM master's degree from Boston University.

In the event of under-enrollment, full payment will be returned. Refund policy is withdrawal before first day of program-fee refund minus $25 processing fee; no refund after first class.
