February Vacation Program

WHO: For students grades 9-12 and highly motivated students grades 7-8

WHAT: This is an intensive, senior level, 4-day immersion into the architectural design process. The course consists of studio-based instruction focused on working from a CONCEPT to a PLAN to a 3-D MODEL. Students will choose and develop their own project theme..... residential structures, commercial buildings, public spaces, etc. Hands-on drawing and model building will be supplemented by an introduction to the works of American architects, local architecture, and contact with a professional architect. This course is highly recommended for students contemplating a related career and for those students who simply enjoy design.
